Today we reviewed the material we covered before our long weekend: protein synthesis. Please see the powerpoint in the notes folder if absent.
We then did a lab activity called "The Mysterious Monster". Students were tasked with taking 7 DNA strands, converting them to mRNA, then to amino acids, and ultimately determining the traits that the DNA coded for. Students will then draw a monster that has the seven traits in question. The lab can be found on google classroom if absent (or if you lose yours) or in the Labs/Activities folder.
