Today we finished our egg lab. We will discuss the egg lab write-up next week (Monday).
We also completed a microscope lab where we looked at cells. Your task is to look at the following slides:
1. Cheek cells (you make)
2. Blood smear
3. Cork
4. Elodea
5. A random protist that has been given to you (Euglena, Amoeba, Vorticella, Paramecium, Volvox)
You will look at it at the best magnification in order to see the cells (this will vary from slide to slide). You will pictures of what you see (and color) at the best magnification possible. Each image must include:
- At least one labeled cell part/organelle
- The magnification used in the image (Ocular x Objective = total magnification)
When finished, you will turn your lab into Mrs. Smith. Here are example images of what you should see:
